Job Details

• Contract Type: Employment
• Duration: Starting 02.02.2026 for max. 24 months
• Location: 8xxxx Munich or 7xxxx Stuttgart
• Remote Work: Max. 60% home office

Responsibilities:

• Definition and creation of Python software tests for embedded devices, and integration into the CI environment
• Development and maintenance of the test framework and test infrastructure
• Creation and maintenance of documentation for software quality
• Collaboration in an agile development team
• Coordination with software development and other development teams (firmware, hardware)
• Integration of software modules into devices
• Execution of software tests and functional tests on the device
• Verification of software through measurements on the hardware
• Support with the integration of devices in the overall system

Requirements:

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Technical Computer Science, or comparable qualification
• Knowledge and experience in:
  • The tasks mentioned above
  • Software development (focus on test and integration)
  • Software quality assurance
  • Python
• Basic knowledge:
  • Communication protocols
  • Software configuration management systems (preferably Git)
  • Object-oriented software development
  • Linux (embedded)
  • C/C++
  • Digital circuit technology
• Desirable:
  • C#
  • systemd/dbus
  • Safety/Security environment
  • ISTQB certification
