Contract Oncology or Rare Disease Project Manager - Remote (12 months)
A leading global pharmaceutical organisation is seeking three experienced Oncology or Rare Disease Project Managers to support high-impact clinical and regulatory programmes on a 12-month remote contract basis. Your role as Oncology or Rare Disease Project Manager
- Lead and coordinate high-level compound review meetings, ensuring agendas, documentation, and minutes are accurately captured and shared via SharePoint.
- Drive pre-meeting data collation efforts and ensure timely action tracking and follow-up.
- Oversee critical project timelines, risks, budgets, and milestones to ensure regulatory compliance and efficient execution.
- Maintain comprehensive project records, including RAID logs, detailed timelines, and charters, to enable seamless project tracking.
- Monitor team capacity and delivery performance across cross-functional workstreams.
- Provide transparent and ongoing status updates around financial performance and resource utilisation.
Experience and qualifications for the Oncology or Rare Disease Project Manager role
- Bachelor's degree in a scientific, business, or related field - or equivalent professional experience.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in project or business management roles within international pharmaceutical or life sciences organisations.
- Prior background in oncology or rare disease project management or involvement in oncology or rare disease-focused programmes is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Office and Smartsheet to manage documentation and timelines effectively.
- Proven ability to work independently in a fully remote environment while collaborating with global stakeholders.
- Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with a proactive approach to delivery.
