We are looking for a dynamic and driven Sales & Business Development Manager with proven expertise within the domestic food & beverage flavouring industry in Poland. As one of the first joiners, the position will focus on generating and activating new leads and building a strong regional portfolio. We are seeking a determined individual eager to drive growth and build solid a solid foundation for this new venture.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Over 5 years of professional experience in flavours or ingredients in B2B sales for the food & beverage industry with focus on sweet&dairy/beverages.
  • Knowledge about industry of the regional market, ability to act as an internal consultant.
  • Willingness to travel within Poland for client visits, as well as exhibition attendance abroad.
  • Internal meetings in Hamburg approx. every 6-8 weeks.
  • Fluency in English is necessary, knowledge of any other languages an asset.

Your Mission

Please note: This is a fully remote position, operating from Poland.

Sales Strategy & Business Development

  • Formulate a strategic sales plan to drive market reach and acquisition of new customers in the food & beverage segment, with focus on sweet&dairy OR beverages.
  • Act as a consultant to the management on any sales-related topic.
  • Outline and integrate the necessary sales processes internally.

Customer Portfolio Development

  • Build a strong portfolio of high potential customers
  • Survey the market to identify target customers and sales potential -- build a strong database of prospective clients.
  • Connect with prospects (from discovery to closing) and build high-level relationships with decisions-makers.
  • Onboard valuable and profitable business to reach company and personal goals.
  • Report on sales evolution and create forecasts.
  • Represent the company at industry events.

Customer Success & Market Intelligence

  • Be an essential part of our customer success team
  • Handle the full customer experience -- brief meetings, sensory test panels, workshops R&D department, etc. -- and coordinate customer projects to ensure maximal satisfaction.
  • Provide technical support to our customers in cooperation with the internal specialist departments.
  • Participate in internal and external sensory test panels to assess in-house developments and market products.
  • Continuously monitor market trends to keep, in partnership with R&D, the portfolio up-to-date.
