Sigubald Company GmbH is a dynamic, ambitious boutique M&A advisory firm specializing in high-profile transactions within the technology, SaaS, and life sciences sectors. We support our clients from strategic sourcing through to the successful execution of complex deals. We are looking for an M&A Analyst Intern (m/f/d) to join our growing team.

Your Role

As an M&A Analyst Intern, you will assume significant responsibility from day one and actively participate in all phases of sophisticated transactions (transaction volumes up to approx. EUR 150 million). You will collaborate directly with our founder. We provide an environment where you can practically deepen your expertise and gain valuable insights into dynamic deal processes.

Your Responsibilities

  • Preparing sophisticated financial models, company valuations, and high-quality presentations / investment memorandums
  • Conducting comprehensive market, competitive, and company analyses
  • Supporting the preparation and execution of transactions (buy-side and sell-side)
  • Analyzing and synthesizing financial information
  • Assisting in due diligence processes
  • Active deal sourcing and independent project management
  • Direct interaction with executives, founders, and private equity investors

Your Profile

  • Enrolled in a business-related degree program (ideally with a focus on finance)
  • Ideally, initial relevant practical experience in investment banking, consulting, or similar environments
  • Team-oriented, resilient personality who thrives in a dynamic work environment and is willing to go the extra mile
  • Excellent skills in slide building (especially PowerPoint) and financial modeling (Excel)
  • Independent, proactive working style and the capability to drive projects forward autonomously
  • Motivated to quickly assume responsibility and further develop professionally and personally
  • Excellent proficiency in German and English
