About the Role

As a long-standing specialist and personnel supplier for the aerospace industry, in partnership with AIRBUS Helicopters, SimpleXX GmbH is seeking a System & SW Engineer for Helicopter Simulation for the Donauwörth location, starting as soon as possible, through temporary employment with an option for permanent hire.

Your responsibilities will include supporting helicopter and system tests through simulations (civil and military, H145 / NH90), and validating new concepts using simulations and simulators. Your Tasks

  • Support helicopter and system tests through simulations - civil and military (H145 / NH90)
  • Validate new concepts using simulations and simulators
  • Actively participate in the development of Full-Flight Simulators and other training systems
  • Develop, integrate, and test simulation systems with a focus on avionics and mission systems
  • Technically advance various sub-system simulations according to the specified helicopter configuration
  • Participate in the requirements analysis of simulation projects and coordinate interfaces with partner companies
  • Integrate simulation systems into various target systems, e.g., development or pilot training simulators

Your Profile

  • Completed studies in engineering, software engineering, or a comparable qualification
  • Professional experience in engineering, research and development, interface management, IT, and aerospace
  • Knowledge in software and system development, helicopter systems and architectures, and aeronautics
  • Intercultural competencies and excellent communication skills
  • Negotiable English and basic German language skills
  • Tools: C++, Linux
