Job Description

OTT is at the forefront of creating critical water and weather solutions for a safer future. We are seeking a Global Commodity Manager Electronics passionate about Global Strategic Sourcing to build a world-class global sourcing strategy.

As the Global Commodity Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing commodity strategies aligned with quality, delivery, and cost objectives. You will be part of the Global Procurement Team and can be located in Delft, Fellbach, or Kempten, with the flexibility of hybrid work. Approximately 30% travel is expected.

Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct business reviews with strategic suppliers to discuss performance, development, and growth opportunities.
• Implement, execute, and sustain Supply Base Management.
• Develop and drive a global sourcing/supply base strategy and related KPIs (PPV, VAVE, DPO) to deliver the best total cost of ownership to worldwide manufacturing sites.
• Independently develop and execute sourcing workshops at or across manufacturing sites.
• Research and provide market analysis on pricing trends that could affect costs.
• Lead supplier relationship management, negotiations, and contract management with team members to achieve Quality, Delivery, and Cost objectives.
• Build internal strategic partnerships across business units, including site operations, procurement, quality, commercial operations, and Corporate Procurement, to meet or exceed YOY performance objectives.

Your Profile

• BS Degree and 7+ years of experience in Commodity Electronics (Operational / Strategic / NPI, direct material) and/or Supply Chain.
• Proven experience in leading projects and negotiating with cross-functional teams and subsidiaries.
• Strong team player with customer orientation, capable of working in a multinational and multicultural environment.
• Naturally analytical, highly interpersonal, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Fluent in English and German. Dutch language skills are a plus.
