Senior Accountant (m/w/d) as Finance Manager (m/w/d)

For our reputable client, a subsidiary of a successful international group located in the Gerlingen area, we are seeking a Senior Accountant (m/w/d) as a Finance Manager (m/w/d) through direct placement. Your Responsibilities:

• Steering and operational involvement in ongoing accounting for accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed assets.
• Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German GAAP) and (system-guided) reconciliation to IFRS.
• Reporting to the parent company and acting as a sparring partner for the local managing director.
• Creation of evaluations and analyses.
• Preparation of accruals and provisions.
• Account reconciliation.
• Processing of monthly tax declarations and ZM (Zusammenfassende Meldung) reports.
• Participation in projects, currently including the transition to SAP.

Your Profile:

• Completed commercial apprenticeship, preferably with further training as a bookkeeper or financial accountant (m/f/d), or training as a tax assistant (m/f/d).
• Professional experience in accounting, with HGB knowledge.
• Good knowledge of MS Office and standard systems.
• English language skills are an advantage.
