About Sonares
Sonares is a scientific service and tech startup in the B2B SaaS sector. We develop evidence-based, interactive tools ("ScienceFacts") based on validated studies and help companies make complex topics understandable, credible, and personally relevant. In an era of fake news, uncertainty, and loss of trust, we consciously focus on ScienceFacts instead of Fake News – and integrate scientific content into the business models of insurance, financial service providers, energy and real estate companies, as well as media houses. We are in the Pre-Series-A phase and are currently strategically expanding our sales team.
Your Role
As a Junior Account Executive (Hybrid Role), you will work closely with our Head of Sales and actively support the entire sales funnel, from market and target customer analysis to outbound & inbound, pitches, and offer preparation. The role is intentionally designed as hybrid and development-oriented: You will start with clear operational tasks, quickly take on responsibility, and grow into an independent client-facing role over time.
Your Tasks
- Analysis of new industries, target customers, and relevant stakeholders
- Identification and prioritization of target accounts (outbound & partner)
- Independent outreach in existing and new industries
- Support and qualification of inbound leads
- Preparation and (over time) independent execution of pitches
- Maintenance and further development of our CRM (Pipedrive)
- Close collaboration with product, science, and marketing teams
- Support in the further development of sales processes and playbooks
Important: Processes are clearly defined here but are iteratively developed data-driven. Change is part of it.
What You Bring
- Approx. 2 years of professional experience, ideally in the B2B Tech/SaaS environment
- Initial experience with outbound, inbound, or account-based sales
- Very structured work approach and good numerical understanding
- Confident handling of CRM systems (e.g., Pipedrive)
- Reliability, hands-on mentality, and ownership
- Curiosity, willingness to learn, and enthusiasm for a scaling environment
- Interest in complex, explanatory products

Salary & Conditions
- Fixed salary: €50,000 - €60,000 gross/year (depending on experience)
- Full-time (40 hours)
- Start date: from March 1st
Perspective
Our goal is for you to develop into an independent client-facing role in the medium term, pitch Sonares independently, and manage clients throughout the entire sales funnel, from initial contact to closing.
