Responsibilities

Planning and coordination of the SAP-HCM platform operation (R/3, S/4HANA) in direct coordination with the data center service provider
Planning and project management for system upgrades, support packages, and new releases, together with our SAP Basis service provider
Participation in the introduction of new SAP modules and SAP technologies in the SAP R/3 and S/4HANA environment. Also with regard to cloud solutions from SAP
Coordination and implementation of technical system connections based on SAP technologies (e.g.: RFC/ALE, Web Services, SMTP, B2A Manager)
Setup and securing of technical network connections, including implementation of encryption technologies and certificate management
Technical support for SPS internal project teams and application developers. This also includes performance analyses in the SAP environment
Implementation and support of SAP Basis functionalities (e.g. transport management, system parameters, SSO scenarios, SAML, audit logs, other system-related processes)
Central point of contact for internal and external IT service providers
Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
2nd and 3rd level support for technical problems in the SAP Basis environment, as well as for interfaces and system accesses

Requirements

Must have:

A completed university (technical college or university) degree or a comparable apprenticeship
Several years of professional experience (min. 3 years) in setting up or supporting IT systems in the SAP R/3 and S/4 HANA environment
Experience as a (part-time) project manager in IT projects
Understanding of networks (e.g.: internal/external DNS entries, protocols ICMP, TCP, VPN)
IT security (encryptions, certificates, firewall)
Initial experience with SAP BTP and CloudALM is an advantage
Good understanding of SAP middleware: SAP Router, SAP Webdispatcher, SAP Businessconnector, SAP Standalone Gateway, SAP CloudConnector
Profound English skills
Strong analytical skills, which you effectively and purposefully use for the analysis, consulting, and implementation of customer requirements
Organizational talent, enabling you to structure your work and set priorities
Curiosity to familiarize yourself with new environments and software platforms
Enjoyment of teamwork as well as the willingness to take on personal responsibility
