Technical position that directly supports the achievement of sales targets. Collaborate closely with Product Management. Out-innovate our competition.
Your Role
- Present to customers as our expert in your area at all levels in the customer hierarchy, from technician to CIO.
- Lead conversations about industry trends and emerging changes to the cybersecurity landscape that every customer needs to be aware of and plan for.
- Discuss, with credibility, competitive offerings in the marketplace and position Sekoia.io as the best alternative.
- Lead and support customer demonstrations (with our SEs) that showcase our unique value.
- Interact locally and remotely with customers in an equally persuasive manner.
Your Missions & Responsibilities
- Work with Product Management, Technical Marketing, and R&D to define requirements and product features for our large customers, and provide feedback from the field.
- Provide design consultation and best practice guidance for rollout, implementation, and policy conversion during the pre-sales process for strategic opportunities. You will take ownership of advanced proof-of-concept testing in strategic accounts, either at the customer site or Sekoia.io lab facilities.
- Deliver product updates and enhancement training to other SEs in the region.
- Provide demonstrations for strategic prospects and current accounts in all facets of Sekoia.io's virtual offerings and integration into existing datacenter environments.
- Assist in the training of new Sekoia.io SEs in their designated region, including installs, customer presentations, and internally-focused deal preparation activities.
- Provide territory coverage within your region when additional resources are required.
- Deliver advanced training for partner SEs on updates in the Sekoia.io product suite.
📍 The position can be based in Paris, Rennes or fully remote from most European capitals. Professional trips paid for by the company will be required.
Preferred Experience
We are excited to meet you if:
- You have in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity, both from a technology and business driver standpoint. You have demonstrable experience securing deals in the enterprise networking security space and cloud architecture.
- You have a BSCS or equivalent and 8+ years of experience as an SE, architect, or systems integrator, especially working with channel partners / in a channel-centric go-to-market approach.
- You have demonstrable experience with systems installation, configuration, and administration of routers/switches, UNIX/Linux, and Windows-based systems (prior Active Directory/LDAP experience desirable).
- Experience selling, demonstrating, installing, and troubleshooting network infrastructure security products.
- Willingness to travel 50%-60% of your work time.
- Strong communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills in English, other languages are a plus.
- You have strong problem-finding and solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex multivariate problems and use a systematic approach to gain quick resolution, even under pressure.
- You have excellent organizational skills.
- You're self-motivated and have a "Whatever it takes" attitude to do what is necessary to assist in closing a deal.
- Having an understanding of threat signatures and their creation is a plus!
