Responsibilities

Shape the future of transport infrastructure with us -- through sound planning, precise calculation, and economically sustainable solutions. We offer challenging projects at home and abroad, modern work methods, a motivated team, and the freedom to actively contribute your expertise. Your area of responsibility with us:

• Technical and personnel management and further development of the planning team in Berlin
• Support in the acquisition and preparation of bids for new infrastructure projects, focusing on roads and railways
• Management and execution of national and international transport infrastructure projects in all planning phases (focus on LPH 4 and 5)
• Cross-location project processing in the field of civil engineering (VWB) and interdisciplinary project processing (geotechnics, architecture, general planning, etc.)
• Planning, dimensioning, and optimization of road and railway projects, including route design, track construction, earthworks and drainage, as well as external facilities and other infrastructure projects
• Technical and contractual contact person for our clients and internal teams
• Ensuring planning quality
• Entrepreneurial responsibility in the areas of acquisition, project controlling, budget tracking, billing, and reporting for the VWB-Berlin location

Profile

• Completed studies in civil engineering, ideally with a specialization in infrastructure or transport
• Several years of professional experience in the planning of civil engineering projects (railway and/or road) with sound knowledge of the relevant standards and guidelines
• Good IT skills in MS Office and in handling route design software such as ProVI and AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Strong communication skills and empathy in dealing with employees, colleagues, managers, and internal clients
• Above-average commitment and an independent way of working
• Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
• Willingness to undertake occasional business trips
