Your Responsibilities

  • Research in the LuFo Klima VII project "Development and operation of a turboshaft dynamic rig for investigating the influence of intermediate shaft bearings on the overall system behavior".
  • Conceptualization and design of an adequately scaled two-shaft turboshaft rig with a modular design.
  • Assembly and commissioning of the two-shaft turboshaft rig.
  • Experimental investigations and generation of vibration data on the turboshaft rig for numerical model matching.
  • Close technical coordination with research and aviation industry partners on requirements, system integration, and interfaces.
  • Publication of scientific results in international journals and relevant conferences.

Your Profile

  • Successfully completed scientific university studies (Master's, Diploma, or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Engineering, or Automotive Engineering.
  • Very good and practical knowledge in design, particularly concerning stress, manufacturing technology, and drive technology.
  • In-depth expertise in mechanical vibration theory, such as rotor dynamics, machine dynamics, or structural dynamics.
  • Proficient in CAD and measurement technology.
  • Very good German language skills, both written and spoken.
  • Experience in strength and fatigue life calculation and in the construction of test stands is desirable.
