Your start in the Product Team at ESN!
As Teamlead Product Development (gn) ESN, you will take on the role of team lead for our ESN product development team and become part of the best product development team for sports nutrition and supplements in Europe. With your experience, you will make our products even better -- from the initial idea to the store shelf.
Your Mission With Us
- You will lead our 5-person product development team in terms of expertise and discipline, and enthusiastically guide exciting product development projects from the initial idea to market launch.
- You will actively drive innovation together with your team, question existing concepts, and continuously optimize our formulations.
- You will identify new, innovative raw materials and functional ingredients that will take our products to the next level.
- With your excellent taste, you will test new creations and ensure the perfect mix of taste, efficacy, solubility, and stability.
- You will think holistically about processes and actively contribute to optimizing our development workflows -- including by establishing new structures and standards.
- You will independently prioritize projects, manage resources efficiently, and coordinate closely with your team -- always hands-on and solution-oriented.
- You will work closely with internal departments such as purchasing, quality management, regulatory, and marketing, and maintain communication with our suppliers.
- You will think about product development internationally and design innovations so that they can also be successfully rolled out internationally.
Your Experience & Skills
- You have completed a degree in nutritional sciences, ecotrophology, food chemistry, food technology, or a comparable qualification.
- You have 5-8 years of experience in the development of sports nutrition and supplements -- ideally in the area of powders, capsules, and tablets.
- You work with a high degree of initiative and entrepreneurial thinking, structure complex topics clearly, and always maintain an overview even with multiple parallel projects.
- As an absolute team player, you take responsibility and use your drive to ensure that ideas become great products that make a real difference.
- You speak German and English fluently.
- You have a strong awareness of laboratory and work safety, as well as regulatory requirements.
- Creativity, a hands-on mentality, and innovative spirit complete your profile.
