Content Acquisitions Specialist (m/w/d)
About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated new team member to be responsible for local content licensing and deal management for our direct-to-consumer platform Disney. In this role, you will oversee the entire pre- and post-signature process, ensuring that content reaches the company and our platforms efficiently, correctly, and on time.
We expect a willingness to work primarily (4 days) from our Munich office, with one day of home office. The internal job title is Supervisor Acquisitions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management and tracking of third-party acquisitions
- Maintenance of deal and contract databases as well as relevant trackers and SharePoint pages
- Coordination of program registration processes, SAP vendor setup, and invoice management
- Collaboration with Operations, Finance, Compliance, Marketing, Scheduling, and others
- Management of asset deliveries, quality control checks, and metadata processes
- Screening and evaluation of content, as well as support with negotiation documents
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Initial professional experience in TV acquisitions or the broader media environment
- Experience in deal and aftercare management
- Confident use of Microsoft tools, Airtable & other systems
- Very good communication and organizational skills
- A detail-oriented approach to work, as well as a high degree of reliability and flexibility
- Very good written and spoken German and English skills
