System Engineer (m/f/d) Aerospace

Your Role

We are seeking a System Engineer (m/f/d) for our long-standing business partner AIRBUS in Manching, Germany. This role is on-site and involves working on Ground Support Systems for military aircraft. Please note that this position is subject to international regulations on military and aerospace projects, requiring specific legal and security authorizations.

Your Tasks

Your responsibilities will include:

• Working on Ground Support Systems for military aircraft (A400M, Eurofighter, Tornado).
• Focusing on electronic warfare, defensive aids, and sensor fusion.
• Analyzing avionics system requirements.
• Developing test plans.
• Defining design requirements for mission data generation.
• Evaluating system performance in the lab using various test equipment.

Your Profile

The ideal candidate will possess:

• An M.Sc./B.Sc. or PhD in Aeronautical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in Electrical engineering/electronics within the aerospace sector.
• Knowledge of the systems/software engineering life cycle and electronic warfare principles.
• Experience with self-defensive and radar systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office, DOORS, Jira, Confluence, and Atlassian tools.
• Experience with automated testing, version control (Git), and scripting languages (e.g., Python) is advantageous.
• Fluent English language skills are essential. Fluent German or any other language is beneficial.
