About this job

We are a company within the THYSSEN SCHACHTBAU Group, employing 125 people at our branch in Jena. At our location, we work in the areas of road construction, civil engineering, and mining.

We are looking to expand our team in Jena by hiring a Construction Administrator / ARGE Administrator in the field of Road Construction, Civil Engineering, and/or Track Construction (m/f/d).

Responsibilities:

  • Independent commercial management of construction projects
  • Monthly closing / performance reporting and target-actual comparisons
  • Invoicing to the client
  • Checking and booking incoming invoices
  • Reviewing contracts, permits, and other certifications in cooperation with site management

Requirements:

You have completed commercial vocational training, a business administration degree, or have relevant professional experience in a comparable position in the construction industry.

You are characterized by:

  • Knowledge of relevant regulations (VOB, etc.)
  • Strong affinity for numbers
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office applications, especially Word and Excel, ideally also SAP knowledge
  • Structured, careful, and reliable way of working
  • Entrepreneurial thinking with an independent, goal-oriented approach
  • Self-motivation, willingness to learn, and teamwork skills
