The Controlling and Finance division is seeking to strengthen its team with a Sachbearbeiter*in Drittmittelmanagement (m/w/d) as soon as possible.

The scope of duties includes the independent, administrative, and financial management of third-party funded projects for the Medical Faculty of the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg.

Insight into Your Tasks:

  • Independent and self-responsible processing of funding applications for various funding formats.
  • Service-oriented consulting and administrative support for beneficiaries.
  • Financial management of projects according to the specifications of the funding bodies and in compliance with state and tax legislation.
  • Independent preparation and support of internal and external project audits.
  • Entry and maintenance of third-party funding master data.
  • Creation of third-party funding statistics.
  • Special tasks as assigned.

Your Profile:

  • A successfully completed degree in economics (B.Sc.) or a comparable commercial apprenticeship with relevant professional experience.
  • Ideally, experience in public administration.
  • Excellent MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Sound knowledge and practical experience with a business management system, ideally with SAP S4/HANA modules CO, FI, SD, and HCM.
  • Practical experience in quality management.
  • Relevant experience in electronic document management with a document management system.
  • Consulting and social skills.
  • Situationally appropriate communication style, very good oral and written expression skills, also in English.
  • A structured, independent, goal- and results-oriented way of working.
  • Enjoyment of teamwork.
  • A high degree of flexibility, commitment, assertiveness, and motivation.

The position is part-time (75%) and limited to 2 years as a parental leave replacement.
