This position is to be filled as soon as possible in the Strategic Medical Technology Department within Division 3 – Materials Management and Services. Strategic Medical Technology is responsible for developing long-term strategic goals, with a focus on networking medical technology. The department is also responsible for project management in the area of medical technology within the University Hospital Frankfurt.
Your Responsibilities:
- Administration of core components of IT networks in the healthcare sector
- Strategic planning, conception, implementation, and support of integrations of the latest medical technology into a complex network environment
- Maintenance of secure and continuous operation
- Participation in the ever-deepening digitalization in the healthcare sector
- Management of medical technology IT projects in close collaboration with external partners and suppliers, as well as medical users and all internal stakeholders
- Analysis of processes and user requirements to identify optimal digital workflows
- Coordination of interfaces between large information systems and efficient data management (Big Data)
- Development of pioneering concepts for digital hospitals – Health 4.0
Precisely here... your profile is in demand
- You have successfully completed a degree in a STEM field, engineering, or health management. Alternatively, you have completed training in a comparable field, such as IT specialist.
- You are tech-savvy and have a quick understanding of logical structures and processes.
- You are aware of the sensitivity surrounding data protection and cybersecurity.
- Experience in network technology, IT security, and/or the healthcare sector is an advantage.
- You have very good German language skills, both written and spoken.
- You are a good fit for us if you are strong in communication and teamwork, convince with a confident demeanor, and show a high degree of self-motivation.

- Due to legal regulations, a valid proof of measles immunity/measles vaccination is required.
