Your mission
You Can Expect To
- Manage metal markets
- Generate brokerage and trading activity on behalf of Vanilla Steel
- Ensure thorough follow-up on deals, coordinating with the operations team for seamless logistics and payment processes
- Leverage existing client relationships - be a key account manager for our customers with both supplier and buyer coverage
- Proactively reach out to potential new clients, initiating cold contacts and arranging meetings to expand our customer base
- Manage operational activities of the trading platform, such as preparing transactional data and order confirmations
- Analyse and report on operational processes to increase efficiencies and scalability
Your profile
- Ambitious, entrepreneurial, and target-driven mentality
- Strong analytical skills, structured thinking and hands-on attitude
- Solid organizational capabilities
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills, together with exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
- Experience in sales and account management
- Professional proficiency in English is essential for this role, knowledge of other languages is highly valued
- Proficiency in using CRM tools (Hubspot preferred)
- A track record of achievement in closing deals as a trader or in a digital marketplace and experience in the metals industries would be a plus
