IT License Specialist (m/f/d)
Location: Ravensburg
Your Responsibilities
People around the world rely on Vetter.
We rely on you:
- You will support the setup, maintenance, and continuous development of the license management system and the tools used.
- You will oversee the entire license lifecycle – from procurement through usage to decommissioning.
- You will ensure license compliance and take over or support the creation of license balances, measurements, and evaluations.
- You will maintain and update a central license and contract overview and support license audits and manufacturer audits.
- You will work closely with IT teams, specialist departments, purchasing, and the legal department, and provide internal advice on license-related issues.
- You will support tenders, bid evaluations, and contract negotiations, and act as a contact person for software manufacturers and external service providers.
- You will actively participate in the operational ticket processing of the IT Sourcing team and ensure structured, efficient processing of sourcing and license-related inquiries.
- You will drive the standardization and professionalization of processes and identify optimization and savings potential in the license environment.
Your Profile
This is how you complete our team:
- With your completed apprenticeship or degree in an IT, commercial, or business-related field.
- With your experience in license management, IT sourcing, software procurement, or SAM.
- You have a basic understanding of common licensing models and IT compliance issues (or have a high willingness to learn).
- With your structured, analytical, and self-reliant way of working.
- You possess strong communication skills and enjoy interdepartmental collaboration.
- You ideally have fluent English skills (B2 level) for collaboration with international partners.
- Good MS Office skills, ideally experience with SAP or service management tools, complete your profile.
