Your contribution will be

  • Leading national operations together with the Director Germany: Managing Finance & Administration, HR, and Risk & Compliance functions; aligning Sanctuary strategies with the overall country strategy
  • Driving Performance & Improvement: Setting and monitoring quantitative/qualitative metrics and standards; evaluating effectiveness and identifying opportunities to optimise operations
  • Budgeting & Resource Management: Planning, controlling, and forecasting budgets and operational costs across divisions to ensure impact and efficiency
  • Implementing policies & strengthening procedures: Ensuring national policies and procedures align with international standards; reviewing and optimising business processes
  • Cross Entity Coordination: Supporting all German entities, promoting synergies, and streamlining processes and reporting together with the Director Germany
  • Change & Communication Leadership: Communicating new directives to leadership and operations teams; acting as first point of contact during major changes, ensuring clarity, support, and morale

Your profile ideally illustrates

  • Successful track record in leadership as well as senior operational roles with NGOs or corporate business
  • Being a convincing and motivating leader within a fast-growing and diverse organisation
  • Experience in fundraising, finance, and HR
  • Thinking outside the box and having a solution-oriented mindset
  • Experience in supporting transformation processes preferred
  • Excellent as a persuasive and engaging communicator and motivator
  • Fluent in German & English
  • Passion for animal welfare and FOUR PAWS' vision and mission
