About the Company
Our client is an internationally active industrial company with a central location in the Münsterland region, supplying both business customers and specialist dealers with high-quality technical products. Key areas such as production, logistics, service, and commercial functions are consolidated at this site, characterized by modern processes and international collaboration. We are seeking a dedicated professional for the accounts receivable department in direct placement (permanent position, no temporary employment).
Responsibilities
- Responsibility for accounts receivable accounting, including booking of incoming and outgoing payments and processing payment runs
- Management of dunning processes, account maintenance, credit checks, and credit approvals
- Collaboration with external service providers (e.g., debt collection) and administration of credit insurance
- Maintenance and updating of customer master data
- Participation in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in the accounts receivable area
- Reconciliation of receivables and payments within the corporate group (intercompany reconciliations)
- Creation of reports and analyses, e.g., for internal departments or external bodies
Requirements
- Completed commercial apprenticeship, e.g., as an office management clerk, industrial clerk, or wholesale and foreign trade clerk
- Experience in accounting and proficient use of accounting software and MS Office
- Basic knowledge of relevant legal frameworks (HGB, UStG, IFRS)
- Independent, meticulous, and reliable way of working
- Teamwork skills, willingness to learn, and good communication skills
- Good written and spoken German and English skills
