Group Accountant - IFRS / Consolidation / SAP (m/w/d)
Requirements
Must have:
- Completed degree in business administration with a focus on accounting, auditing, or related fields
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in the (group) accounting of an international group or a public accounting firm
- Proficientskills in international accounting (IFRS), consolidation, and reporting obligations of a capital market-oriented company
- Structured and meticulous way of working, as well as analytical and solution-oriented thinking
- Good German and English skills, both written and spoken
- Motivation for continuous professional development and willingness to contribute own experiences to existing processes
- Knowledge of SAP and IDL-Consis or another consolidation software is ideal
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements of the corporate group in accordance with IFRS
- Support in the preparation of capital market-relevant disclosures in coordination with the relevant departments
- Ensuring ESEF-compliant reporting
- Acting as a liaison between group functions and commercial departments/managers in national subsidiaries
- Support and guidance for subsidiaries on accounting issues, especially according to IFRS and German Commercial Code (HGB)
- Assessment of technical accounting issues and questions regarding capital market and legal requirements related to the consolidated financial statements of the corporate group
- Development of the group accounting policy according to IFRS in cooperation with the Group Accounting of United Internet AG and continuous improvement of the accounting-relevant internal control system (ICS) in cooperation with other departments
