Infrastructure Engineer - Azure / Hyper-V (m/w/d)

Responsibilities:

• Operation, maintenance, and development of the hypervisor and server infrastructure based on Azure Local (Azure Stack HCI)
• Management and monitoring of virtual machines, failover clusters, and Storage Spaces Direct (S2D)
• Planning, implementation, and ongoing support of data backup with Veeam Backup & Replication including Enterprise Manager
• Performing backups, restores, and replications according to company-wide standards
• Management of the system lifecycle, including patch management, firmware updates, and capacity planning
• Ensuring system availability and performance with tools such as Azure Monitor and Windows Admin Center
• Management of Windows Server (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, File Services, etc.)
• Documentation, standardization, and automation of operational processes

Requirements:

Must have:

• Completed training as an IT specialist for system integration (m/f/d) or comparable qualification in the relevant field of activity
• At least 2 years of professional experience in this area
• Initial experience in the field of Azure Local (Azure Stack HCI) and associated technologies (Failover Clustering, S2D)
• Sound knowledge in the administration of Windows Servers, Hyper-V, and network integration
• Deep understanding of Veeam Backup & Replication including Enterprise Manager
• Confident use of PowerShell
• Familiarity with security and device protection policies in the Microsoft environment
• Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
