Job Description

Your Responsibilities

As a Desk-Based Account Manager, you will be responsible for the support and further development of a portfolio of small existing customers as well as acquiring new prospects through structured sales activities and product-specific campaigns.

The focus is on efficient, scalable sales management from the desk: regular customer contact, identification of upsell and cross-sell potential, and targeted approach to new customers. You will act as a competent contact person for our customers and position WTG as a trustworthy solution provider.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support & Development of Existing Customers
  • Responsibility for a defined portfolio of small and medium-sized existing customers
  • Regular support via telephone, video calls, and digital touchpoints
  • Identification of needs and up- and cross-selling potentials
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction, loyalty, and repeat purchase rates
  • Maintenance of all customer activities in the CRM system
  • New Customer Acquisition & Prospecting
  • Active approach and qualification of new prospects (Inbound & Outbound)
  • Execution of structured follow-ups and lead nurturing activities
  • Building and maintaining a continuous, qualified sales pipeline
  • Close collaboration with Marketing on campaigns and lead handovers
  • Campaigns & Product Focus
  • Execution and follow-up of product-specific sales campaigns
  • Targeted marketing of defined WTG solutions and services
  • Translating product and service offerings into clear customer benefits
  • Feedback loops with Marketing, Portfolio, and Sales for campaign optimization
  • Internal Collaboration
  • Close coordination with Inside Sales, Marketing, Portfolio, and Pre-Sales
  • Support in quotation processes and preparation for closing deals
  • Ensuring efficient, standardized sales processes

Your Profile

  • Experience in B2B sales, inside sales, or account management, ideally in the IT, Cloud, UC, or Managed Services environment
  • Enjoyment of structured customer support, prospecting, and campaign work
  • Strong communication skills - confident on the phone and in virtual customer contact
  • Basic understanding of Cloud, IT, or Managed Services solutions
  • Proficient use of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce)
  • Independent, structured, and results-oriented work ethic
  • Personally, you convince with customer focus and a friendly, reliable demeanor
  • High self-motivation and enjoyment of active sales
  • Team spirit and openness to feedback and further development
  • Structure, reliability, and good time management
  • Languages: Native German speaker
