About the Role

You have a degree in a construction-related field or completed training in facade technology, metal construction technology, or architecture? You want to be trained as a specialist in facade engineering on a part-time basis? Then we should get to know each other!

For our Facade Technology department at our headquarters in Stuttgart, we are looking for you, in permanent employment, as soon as possible, as an Engineer or Technician (m/f/d) and offer you a part-time advanced training as a Facade Engineer (m/f/d).*

*The Certificate Course Facade Engineer (m/f/d) takes place after successful completion of the probationary period with corresponding positive performance prognosis and is covered by ZECH Hochbau AG at the Technical University of Augsburg. What You Will Do

  • You will be responsible for facade constructions during the tendering, awarding, and execution phases within our projects in turnkey construction.
  • You will review and optimize externally created plans for the building envelope.
  • You will be responsible for the creation and calculation of the various facade trades.
  • You will lead the tendering processes.
  • You will conduct award negotiations with subcontractors and provide support until the acceptance of the facade construction work.

Who We Are Looking For

  • A degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Alternatively, training as a construction or facade technician or a construction technology assistant.
  • Professional experience in the planning and execution of facades, roofs, and roof structures is an advantage, but not essential.
  • Knowledge of tendering (e.g., iTwo) and calculation software (e.g., Logikal) is also advantageous.
  • A dedicated, independent way of working and enjoyment of teamwork.
