Responsibilities
Are you experienced in construction management, costing, or a comparable role, have you gained experience in claims management, and do you now want to focus specifically on it? Then it's time for your next career step! These could soon be your responsibilities:
- Ensuring contract-relevant documentation (support with entries in daily construction reports and updating construction schedules, maintaining claim-preserving correspondence with clients and other project participants)
- Identifying and registering claims for additional payment (contract or deviation analyses, registration of additional costs, objections, and hindrances, etc.)
- Developing and enforcing technical claims for additional payment (coordinating scope of services, delimitation from the contract, obtaining quotes, cost calculation, offer preparation and submission, contract negotiation, etc.)
- Support in project execution or on construction sites
- Advising project management regarding claims for additional payment or defense against claims
Qualifications
- Successfully completed studies with a technical background (Civil Engineering, Project Management, Construction Economics, Geotechnics, or similar)
- Several years of professional experience in claims management, construction management, costing, or a comparable position are desirable, ideally in special foundation engineering
- Proficiency in applying and interpreting construction contract law and the contract regulations for construction services (VOB), as well as in preparing contract-relevant correspondence
- Good knowledge of RIB iTWO (costing and bid processing)
- Experience in negotiations with clients and subcontractors
- Independent, structured, meticulous, and self-reliant way of working within a team
