To support our growing organisation we are currently looking for IT Network Engineer (m/f/d) =========================== #### Your main responsibilities: * Maintain, support and further develop the network environment, including the Data Center and office locations * Implement and maintain network solutions, including VLAN, BGP, ACLs and related network components * Implement and maintain firewalls, including ACL configuration, routing, firmware upgrades, VPN, syslog and general firewall operations * Support Disaster Recovery procedures * Provide operational support to the team in maintaining IT infrastructure services * Monitor IT infrastructure using SolarWinds or similar monitoring tool * Coordinate and work efficiently with external partners/vendors to ensure smooth operations of internal tools * Actively participate in IT projects and contribute to successful implementation * Provide second-level support resolving tickets in Jira #### We offer: * attractive and well equipped workplace in the heart of the city center * interesting job where you can meet diversified challenges and tasks every day * international working environment, shaped by team work and a great atmosphere * appropriate remuneration and social benefits of a modern company * flexible working time including home office model * close cooperation and exchange of experience with other skilled teams within the GATX group * opportunity for professional development with wide range of trainings #### You are a good fit if you have: * Higher education, preferably in a technical/IT field * Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in administering IT network infrastructure * Experience with implementing and maintaining network solutions using Ruckus (or Cisco/Extreme), including VLAN, BGP, ACLs and strong overall networking knowledge * Experience in implementing and maintaining firewalls (Cisco or similar), including ACL configuration, routing, firmware upgrades, VPN and syslog administration * Experience supporting Disaster Recovery procedures with VMware SRM; knowledge of Veeam for disaster recovery is an advantage * Experience building network infrastructure from scratch, including SD-WAN solutions * Very good command of English (German, Polish or French is a plus) * Strong communication and documentation skills, including Jira * Proactive, structured work approach and ownership of assigned tasks, processes and documentation * Willingness to grow professionally and collaborate effectively within the team * Willingness to travel (once per quarter), driving license would be a plus ##### **Nice to have:** * AWS or Azure Network knowledge * Veeam knowledge * Practical experience with Microsoft ecosystem (Windows Server, Microsoft 365, EntraID, Exchange, Active Directory) * PAM knowledge * Familiarity with ITIL practices We are looking forward to receiving your application! ##### Join our GATX team and let's make railcar leasing easier together. ##### Want to learn more about us?
