As a Data Analyst / Data Consultant, you identify value creation potentials, make benefits measurable, and support implementation – from analytics to data strategy. You understand Business Intelligence as an end-to-end process, leading to scalable, data-based business models.

Your Tasks - Shaping Data Usage Strategically:

You act as a link between business units (e.g., Risk, Controlling, Corporate Governance) and associated technological solutions:

• Data Analysis and Consulting (BI/Analytics) in the Data Warehouse, ideally with a technical focus in the financial services sector (e.g., banks, insurance companies, FinTechs)
• Conception and coordination of technical solution approaches in close collaboration with business departments (requesters) and IT developers (implementers) – you are the interface between technology and business
• You master SQL data analyses and test execution independently; ideally, you have had previous contact with other programming languages such as Python or R (or similar data science tools) in on-premise and cloud environments
• Development of technical solution concepts. Open to learning new methods and technological approaches
• Creation of data modeling, database structures, and/or data quality metrics in the context of data warehousing may occur
• We learn from the best: You pass on your knowledge to our junior consultants through training and mentoring

Prerequisites

• At least 2 years of experience in data analysis, ideally in consulting or the financial sector
• Completed degree (Computer Science, Business Informatics, Business Administration with a Tech focus, Mathematics) or comparable qualification
• German language skills at C1 level for project work and communication absolutely essential
• Fluent English in spoken and written (C1)
• Independent way of working and willingness to travel (approx. once a month to clients)
• Openness to new challenges and changing environments
• Strong communication and networking skills
• You speak SQL fluently, including analytical functions and data modeling
• Solid practical experience with at least one BI tool (e.g., Tableau, MS Power BI)
• Basic knowledge of Python or R

Technical Skills (Advantageous):

• Experience with various database systems (e.g., relational SQL, cloud-based database technologies) and/or data platforms (e.g., ETL/ELT)
• Basic understanding of cloud technologies and platforms (e.g., cloud storage solutions) and how services work – you understand the concepts and can contribute to discussions!

Recruiting Process
