- Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer - Energy & Industrial Projects
About A2B's Client:
We're working with a well-established international engineering organisation delivering complex projects across the energy, environmental, and industrial sectors.
They specialise in large-scale plant systems, with a strong focus on sustainability, modernisation, and energy transition technologies. Due to continued project growth, they're looking to bring in an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer (EMSR) to support both new builds and retrofit projects.
Role Overview:
You'll take ownership of engineering activities across the full project lifecycle---from design through to commissioning, working on automation, control, and electrical systems within industrial and energy plants.
This is a hands-on, project-driven role with exposure to international work and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and implement EMSR (electrical, measurement, control & automation) solutions
- Support retrofit, modernisation, and service projects within industrial/energy plants
- Contribute to technical design, engineering, and commissioning phases
- Act as a technical point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders
- Prepare technical documentation and support tender processes
- Coordinate suppliers, contractors, and internal departments
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards
- Support installation and commissioning activities in Germany and internationally
Qualifications:
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Control Engineering, or similar (or equivalent technical training)
- Several years' experience in industrial, process, or energy plant environments
- Strong knowledge of EMSR systems and automation technologies
- Experience with medium/low voltage systems is advantageous
- Fluent in German and English (both required)
- Comfortable working in project-based environments with cross-functional teams
- Willingness to travel (Germany international project support)
