Head of Platform (Lead Software Engineer) (m/f/d)

About the Role:

We're looking for an experienced Head of Platform (Lead Software Engineer) to join our leadership team. You'll be the bridge between our business, product, and technology teams --- driving technical excellence, guiding architectural decisions, and mentoring our engineers.

You Will:

• Lead and coach technical teams across multiple projects.
• Design and oversee scalable, secure software architectures - especially from a platform perspective
• Collaborate closely with clients and internal teams to deliver tailored fintech solutions.
• Evaluate and integrate APIs and third-party financial services.
• Drive best practices in code quality, DevOps, and agile development.
• Contribute strategically to AAZZUR's product roadmap and technical vision.

You Need:

• 5-10 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong background in financial services , banking , platforms or fintech .
• Degree in Computer Science , Engineering , or a related field.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring technical teams.
• Hands-on expertise with modern web technologies , cloud architecture , and API design (REST, GraphQL, etc.).
• Experience with microservices , containers (Docker/Kubernetes) , and CI/CD pipelines .
• Strong communication skills and the ability to translate technical concepts into business impact.
• Based in Berlin or willing to relocate.
