By joining us now, you'll be part of a pioneering team shaping the future of robotics—working alongside world-class experts in a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment.\n\n### Your Role and Responsibilities\n\nThis position reports to the Sales Manager.\n\nIn this role, you are responsible for sales and business development within ABB's Product Line Service Robotics. You will manage the entire sales process—from identifying new business opportunities and building customer relationships to successfully concluding contracts. The focus will be on turnkey robotics solutions for applications, as well as expanding the partner network and ecosystem partners in areas such as Life Science & Healthcare laboratories (unregulated market), hospital environments, food services, and retail.\n\nThe working model for this position is flexible: Onsite / Remote / Hybrid (#LI-Onsite / #LI-Remote / #LI-Hybrid).\n\nYou will contribute to the Robotics & Discrete Automation business unit in Germany. Key stakeholders include customers, the front-end sales organization, inside sales teams, project managers, and engineering.\n\nYou are primarily responsible for:\n\n* Identifying and developing new business opportunities and market segments\n* Managing the entire sales process from lead generation to successful contract conclusion\n* Building and maintaining long-term customer and partner relationships\n* Creating customized offers and compelling presentations to showcase ABB's added value\n* Monitoring market trends and competitor activities to adapt sales strategies\n\nYou will be part of a dedicated and motivated team, where you can work on innovative projects with high growth potential.\n\n### Qualifications for the Role\n\n* Completed university degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Business Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable course of study—alternatively, a completed technical apprenticeship or qualification as a state-certified technician, each combined with relevant professional experience.\n* Minimum of 5 years of sales experience in industrial automation, robotics, or technical solution sales.\n* Demonstrable experience in consultative selling and business development.\n* Knowledge of markets such as Science & Healthcare, hospital environments, food services, retail, or other areas where human work can be supported by robotics is advantageous.\n* Strong understanding of value propositions for different customer groups.\n* Very good communication, presentation, and negotiation skills in German and English.\n* Initiative, strategic and independent work, as well as cross-team collaboration.\n* Willingness to travel within Germany (approx. 60-70%).\n\n### Benefits\n\n* Company pension plan\n* Flexible working hours\n* Employee stock purchase plan\n* Learning & development opportunities\n* Company car\n\nInterested?\n\nWe look forward to receiving your complete application via our online application tool.\n\nIn cases of equal suitability, severely disabled persons and persons with equivalent status will be given preferential consideration.\n\nABB AG\n+49 (0) 621 381 3500\n\nJoin us.
