What awaits you?
- You will take responsibility for our company's internal portfolio for Virtualization & Application Infrastructure – from hypervisor technologies and container platforms to enterprise workloads.
- You will actively shape the portfolio roadmap, evaluate new technologies, identify trends, and develop a future-proof, consistent solution landscape for our customers.
- You will build a manufacturer-neutral technology and partner ecosystem, maintain strategic partnerships, and evaluate their fit, scalability, and potential.
- You will support sales, marketing, business development, and engineering, develop strong storylines, clear benefit arguments, and conduct workshops, enablement sessions, and internal coordination meetings.
- You will moderate between strategy, technology, and market requirements, work on standards, platform concepts, and go-to-market topics.
- You will monitor market, customer, and competitor developments, derive strategic recommendations, and think outside the box – e.g., on modernization, consolidation, migration, or automation.
What you should bring?
- You have experience in virtualization, platform IT, or modern data center architectures and are comfortable in complex IT infrastructures.
- You know hypervisor, container, and Kubernetes-based platforms in detail and can confidently classify technical interrelationships.
- You have experience with enterprise application workloads – whether SAP systems, Windows environments, databases, or GPU/AI-related applications.
- You have a senior mindset, make clear decisions, think in a structured way, and reflect on your topics strategically.
- As a communicative personality, you take ownership of your topics, bring people together, and can prepare complex technical content understandably for everyone.
- You communicate fluently in German (C1) and have good English skills.
