Job Description

As a Java Developer (m/f/d) at ADVITEC Informatik GmbH, you will participate in the modernization and further development of applications for public sector clients. You will implement technical and functional concepts in Java, further develop existing applications, or realize new solutions. You will contribute your expertise in the Oracle environment and support quality assurance as well as the analysis and specification of requirements within the team.

• Implementation of functional and technical concepts, including accompanying quality assurance of developed software components and interfaces.
• Support in requirements analysis and specification of Java-based implementations.
• Further development and new development of Java applications.
• Close collaboration with business departments, testing teams, and product/process managers.
• Occasional customer visits on-site (approx. once a month).

Your Profile

• In-depth, current, and consistent experience in Java development.
• Several years of practical experience with Oracle databases (preferably from version 12) and PostgreSQL databases (preferably from version 9).
• Practical experience with:
  • SQL
  • Interfaces such as XML, JSON, SOAP, REST
  • Development tools like Eclipse/IntelliJ IDEA, Jira, Confluence, Git, Gradle, SoapUI
  • Frameworks like JUnit, SpringBoot, Selenium, TestNG
• German language skills at least at C1 level.
