Job Description

To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer (m/f/d) for demanding national and international projects in building and civil engineering as soon as possible.

Your Responsibilities

  • Independent structural design for complex construction projects across all service phases
  • Development of economical and sustainable structural concepts
  • Static calculations and dimensioning of steel, reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, and/or timber structures
  • Technical leadership and guidance of junior and project structural engineers
  • Coordination with architects, clients, testing engineers, and specialist planners domestically and abroad
  • Participation in bid processing, project organization, and quality assurance
  • Presentation of planning results in German and English

Qualifications

  • Completed studies in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural engineering / structural design
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in structural design in the German market, including independent handling of complex projects across all HOAI service phases (LPH 1-6, ideally up to LPH 8), creation of verifiable static calculations, and technical coordination and consultation with testing engineers
  • Very good knowledge of relevant standards and regulations (e.g., Eurocodes, DIN)
  • Sound experience in using common structural analysis and design software (e.g., RFEM, SOFiSTiK, MB-AEC, or comparable), including:
    1. Independent model setup for complex structures
    2. Execution of linear and non-linear calculations
    3. Design according to current standards
    4. Plausibility checks and interpretation of calculation results
  • Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Very good German and English skills (C1/C2) in speaking and writing
