Artificial Intelligence Product Owner (Senior)

Affinity is supporting a global pharmaceutical organization in the search for an experienced Senior Product Owner / Senior Product Manager to lead a large-scale enterprise Generative AI platform used by over 36,000 active users across the business.

Engagement: Contractor/Freelancer (80-100% working)

Dates: Mid-August -- End of December 2026, extensions possible

Location: 100% Remote (EU timezone, English-speaking environment)

Industry: Global Pharmaceutical

Day Rate: Discussed upon application

This is a hands-on interim assignment requiring someone who can step in quickly, take ownership from day one, and confidently manage a mature AI product in a complex, matrixed environment.

Key requirements:

• Proven experience in interim or transition Product Owner assignments
• Strong knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs, AI agents and workflows (Langdock experience is highly desirable but not essential)
• Experience managing enterprise-scale platforms, including backlog, roadmap and stakeholder prioritization
• Solid understanding of AI governance, including the EU AI Act, GDPR, data privacy and AI cost/usage governance
• Comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders across large, global organizations (80+ internal teams)
• SAFe underdoing, ideally certified (Product Owner/Product Manager)
