Senior Software Engineer (C++)
Location: Kiel
Salary: Up to €105,000pa (Negotiable)
Contract: 24 months | Full-time (40h/week)
Home Office: On request

We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Software Engineer (C++) to join a high-performance engineering environment focused on building complex, scalable software systems.
This is an opportunity to work on technically demanding products, contribute to architectural decisions, and mentor other engineers within a collaborative and quality-driven team.
Your Responsibilities
- Develop high-performance, scalable software solutions using modern C++
- Design and implement robust, maintainable system architectures
- Drive software quality through unit and integration testing (e.g. Catch2)
- Improve and optimize CI/CD pipelines and automation processes
- Act as a technical lead and mentor for junior and mid-level developers
- Support the team through code reviews, pair programming, and problem-solving
- Serve as a key technical contact for complex development challenges
Your Profile
- Several years of professional experience in C++ software development
- Strong expertise in modern C++ (ideally C++23) and Qt framework
- Solid understanding of software architecture and design patterns
- Experience working with distributed or complex systems
- Proven ability to technically lead or mentor other developers
- Strong communication skills in German and English
