Germany (Hybrid)
Salary: €60,000-€75,000 base, strong bonus
Airbotics Talent are working with a highly innovative UAV manufacturer that sells systems into defence, DFR and government. As part of their growth they are now looking to recruit a dedicated Sales Manager to oversee their business across the DACH (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) region. Candidates will be based in Germany, with a mix of work from home, travelling with customers and at the head office when required.
The Role
This role is critical in ensuring the continued year on year growth of the sales pipeline through Business Development and Marketing activity. This role is very much hunter focused with some existing customers based in Germany and the wider DACH region.
You will be responsible for the full sales cycle (cradle to grave), from market mapping, lead generation, RFI, RFP, RFQ, negotiation and contract signature, both direct to customers and through distribution and partner channels. This role will have significant customer contact, with performing demos and walking customers through features and benefits of the product part of the role. This position is initially a standalone role but there are opportunities for future progression and development.
The Person
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience selling UAV or UAS solutions
- Experience selling into the Bundeswehr, NATO Defence organisations, Bundespolizei and Government is preferred but not essential
- A minimum of 3 years experience in a Business Development or Sales role
- A "hunter" profile and be motivated to identify and secure new business
- A track record of increasing sales through new customer acquisition
- A degree is preferred but not essential
- Flexibility to travel to customer locations with reasonable travel anticipated
- German and English language skills are essential
