We are currently looking for a DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) with a focus on IT security process integration for our client in the public sector. Remote work is possible for approximately 80%.

Job Description

• Further development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines with GitLab CI/CD and Jenkins.
• Further development and maintenance of operational and monitoring processes in the AWS cloud infrastructure using suitable tools (including ECS Fargate, CloudFormation, Pulumi, Kubernetes, Grafana).
• Integration and evaluation of IT security tools (AquaSec, GitLeaks, SonarQube), support of IT security processes such as pen tests, and analysis and resolution of security problems in software applications.
• Support in maintaining software dependencies using Renovate.
• Support team members in the further development and maintenance of software components.
• Documentation and communication of software architecture and coordination with system architects.

Profile

• CI/CD Pipelines: Experience (> 2 years) in developing pipelines for building, testing, and deployment (preferably GitLab CI/CD).
• AWS Cloud Infrastructure: Experience (> 2 years) in using and configuring AWS cloud services (including CloudFormation, ECS Fargate).
• IT Security: Experience (> 2 years) in the integration and evaluation of IT security tools and processes (vulnerability scanners, secret scanners, static code analysis, pen tests).

Desirable Skills:

• DevOps Tools: Experience working with Bash, YAML, Docker, Renovate, Pulumi, Kubernetes.
• Build Tools: Experience working with build tools for the used ecosystems (npm, Poetry, Buf, GCC, Clang, CMake, Maven, protoc).
• Programming Languages & Frameworks: Development experience in Angular (TypeScript/HTML/CSS), Django (Python), and C++.
• Agile Methods: Experience with agile frameworks such as SAFe, Scrum, Kanban.
