Job Description: Development Engineer (m/f/d) Plastics Technology

Responsibilities:

• Conception, development, and design of tool and manufacturing-friendly assemblies and components from the initial idea to series production
• Interface and close exchange with suppliers and related departments
• Development of concepts, including implementation in demonstrators and prototypes
• Verification of the function of the developed components in the laboratory by preparing, conducting, and evaluating the results of functional and endurance tests
• Troubleshooting during series production support and development and support of improvements
• Recording of development results using the PLM system and process-controlled documents

Profile:

• Completed engineering degree in Plastics Technology or Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent educational background with relevant experience
• Several years of practical experience in the development/design of plastic parts (injection molding/extrusion) as well as sheet metal parts
• Proficient in 3D CAD systems, preferably Creo, and MS Office applications
• Structured, independent, and methodical way of working combined with teamwork skills
• Communication and presentation skills
• Fluent German and good English skills
