IT-Helpdesk Support (m/w/d) 1st Level (hybrid)
Project Description
Start an exciting project in IT support with our partner -- with the option to work either in the office in Bochum or Dortmund. The project runs for at least 12 months and offers you the chance for a long-term perspective in a modern and international IT environment. Here you have the opportunity to apply your technical knowledge, professionally process support requests, and ensure smooth IT operations together with your team.
What awaits you:
- You analyze the existing IT infrastructure and actively contribute optimization ideas
- As the first point of contact in 1st level support, you are the rock in the surf for technical concerns
- You receive fault reports by phone or digitally and ensure that they are processed quickly and professionally
- In close exchange with users and colleagues, you always keep an overview even with parallel requests
- You document reliably and contribute to the continuous improvement of our service processes
What distinguishes you:
- Completed IT training or a comparable qualification
- Initial practical experience in IT helpdesk or service desk -- ideally just a few months after your training
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and common applications
- A structured, solution-oriented approach and genuine enthusiasm for technical challenges
- Strong communication skills in German (C1) as well as solid English skills (B1--B2)
- Team spirit, openness, and joy in working with colleagues from different cultural backgrounds
- Willingness for regular shift work (early shift 6:30 AM - 3:30 PM / late shift 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, on a rotating basis -- e.g., one week of early shift per month)
Your Benefits:
- A gross salary of €2,700--€2,800 per month
- Hybrid working with currently three days a week in the office -- in the long term, even up to 100% home office is possible
