About the role

We're looking for a Visual Designer who takes ownership of ALEMI's visual execution and helps shape it as we grow.

You combine strategic thinking with hands-on design, have a strong sense of aesthetics and brand, and are curious about how your creatives perform.

ALEMI is a premium handbag brand for modern working women, built around timeless design, functionality, and female empowerment.

Your responsibilities

  • Own ALEMI's visual execution across all brand touchpoints
  • Develop, maintain, and consistently apply the ALEMI visual guidelines
  • Conceptualize and create creatives for:
    • Paid social ads (static, video, UGC cuts)
    • Website and campaign assets
  • Ensure a consistent, high-quality look across website, ads, social media, store screens, and brand materials
  • Lead the visual direction for photo and video shoots (look, mood, visual language)
  • Work closely with Performance Marketing, Website & E-Commerce, Social Media, and the founder
  • Translate performance feedback into new creative iterations and improvements
  • Use AI tools thoughtfully to support ideation, moodboards, creative exploration, and efficiency in daily production
  • Guide and give feedback to a working student in the creative team
  • Brief, coordinate, and quality-check external freelancers
  • Keep assets well-organized, versioned, and quality-controlled

Your profile

Experience

  • Around 2–4 years of experience in visual design, creative, or content
  • Experience in a digital environment (DTC, e-commerce, startup, or agency)
  • A portfolio that shows strong visual taste and brand understanding
  • Your title matters less than your willingness to take ownership

Tools & skills

  • Very confident with Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and Premiere Pro
  • Experience creating paid social creatives, social content, and website assets
  • Curious and open to using AI-supported tools in the creative process
  • Structured, detail-oriented working style with high quality standards

  • You can turn feedback and performance insights into better design
  • You have a strong sense of aesthetics, brand impact, and tone

Languages

  • Very good in German and in English
