Alpine Business Consulting specializes in fixing enterprise performance management systems that have lost their way. We step in to configure these systems properly or build new ones from scratch. We are currently supporting a partner who is a leading European logistics firm to rebuild their reporting structures and ensure they have a single source of truth for their daily operations.
The Analytics Coordinator is a full time, entry level role designed to support our senior consultants in the daily management of data and documentation. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from your own environment while staying closely connected with a team that values practical results over corporate fluff. You will play a part in ensuring the logistics firm we are supporting can finally trust the data they see on their screens every morning.
About the role
In this role, your primary focus is the integrity of the data we are processing for our logistics client. Large scale shipping and transport operations generate massive amounts of information that must be funneled into a clean, usable format. You will work under the guidance of consultants who have spent years with Oracle EPM and SAP BPC. Your task is to verify that our new configurations are pulling data correctly and that the final reports match the source systems. This requires a high level of attention to detail and a methodical approach to checking numbers.
Documentation is a core part of what we do at Alpine Business Consulting. We provide fixed price quotes and promise a clean handover at the end of every project. You will spend a significant portion of your time drafting the configuration guides and training manuals that the client will use to stay independent long after our engagement ends. We do not want our clients to be stuck in a cycle of endless support fees: we want to give them the tools they need to succeed on their own.
What you will do
- Perform daily data validation tasks to ensure financial reports are accurate and consistent.
- Assist senior consultants in mapping data from various logistics databases into central reporting tools.
- Draft and update project documentation, including configuration steps and logic definitions.
- Verify that system updates do not break existing report templates or dashboards.
- Coordinate with client stakeholders to gather basic requirements for new reporting views.
- Maintain project trackers to ensure we stay on schedule for our fixed price milestones.
- Help prepare training materials that explain how to use the new analytics tools.
- Identify and log discrepancies in data sets for escalation to the technical team.
