Alterric is one of the leading developers and operators of wind turbines in Europe. Our IT landscape is growing rapidly and is based on modern cloud technology (Azure), numerous SaaS solutions, and a central data platform.

To technically support this growth and our digitalization and data ambitions, we are strategically expanding our IT architecture. For this, we are looking for you as an IT Architect with a focus on Enterprise & Solution Architecture.

Your Responsibilities

Solution Architecture

You translate requirements into viable, integrated solution architectures:

• Creation of Solution Designs (systems, data flows, interfaces)
• Integration of new solutions into our Azure and SaaS landscape
• Technical evaluation and documentation of architectural decisions
• Support of projects from requirements to implementation

Enterprise Architecture

You support the development and advancement of our target architecture:

• Development and maintenance of target visions & architectural principles
• Participation in Application Portfolio and Lifecycle Management
• Analysis of redundancies, technical debt, and consolidation potentials
• Derivation of concrete measures and initiatives

Integration and Cloud Architecture

You define and establish modern integration approaches:

• Integration patterns such as API-first, Events, Messaging, Batch
• Design of robust end-to-end integrations
• Collaboration with Data Architects on data flows and models

Architecture Governance

You contribute clear architectural perspectives to decision-making rounds:

• Participation in architecture reviews and coordination formats
• Creation of architecture artifacts (Solution Designs, diagrams, ADRs)
• Quality assurance regarding security, scalability & data quality

Collaboration

Architecture is teamwork here:

• You work closely with Cloud, Data, Security, and Application experts, as well as Project Managers and business departments.
• Our standard for architecture: pragmatic, usable, fit for purpose -- not over-formalized.

Your Profile

• Experience in Solution Architecture & project support
• Understanding of Enterprise Architecture (target visions, principles, portfolio)
• Very good knowledge of modern integration patterns
• Experience with cloud architectures, ideally Azure
• Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex topics understandably
• Pragmatism and willingness to make clear recommendations
• Structured way of working and cleanly documented decisions
• Nice-to-have: Experience with architecture tools (e.g., Miro, Confluence, ArchiMate, LeanIX) and industry knowledge in energy/wind (not a must)
