We are seeking an experienced Accounting Expert (m/f/d) on behalf of the company to professionally strengthen the team in Accounting, optimize processes, and sustainably improve quality. The position can also be filled part-time with 30 hours per week.

Your Responsibilities:

• Professional and disciplinary leadership of the accounting team (currently 6 people)
• Central point of contact for Group Accounting and close collaboration with the Group Closing team
• Responsibility for monthly and quarterly closings as well as preparation of annual financial statements
• Ensuring quality and further development of local accounting processes
• Expansion and optimization of global documentation for accounting processes
• Identification and implementation of improvements in accounting, e.g., introduction of a global travel expense system
• Contact person for auditors in close coordination with Group Accounting
• Collaboration with the controlling department and support in creating analyses and evaluations

Your Profile:

• Successfully completed business administration degree with a focus on finance, accounting, or a comparable commercial apprenticeship with additional qualification as a certified accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter)
• Sound professional experience in financial accounting/accounting in a manufacturing company
• Initial leadership experience is advantageous
• Confident knowledge of accounting standards according to HGB and IFRS
• Proficient in using the SAP FI module
• Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
• High initiative, solution-orientation, and persuasiveness
• Team player with an open mindset, strong communication skills, and a keen eye for detail and processes
