On behalf of the company, based in the northern Stuttgart area, we are looking for a Bilanzbuchhalter (m/w/d) with knowledge in preparing financial statements according to HGB and IFRS.

This responsible position will be filled as a permanent position in our client's Finance department and offers an attractive annual salary of up to 90,000 EUR gross and many other attractive benefits.

Your Tasks:

• Independent preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to IFRS and HGB as well as group reporting
• Project management for the further development of internal processes in the Finance & Accounting area with a special focus on automation and digitalization
• Versatile support and responsibility for a department within the team, e.g., for fixed assets
• Participation in cross-departmental projects and technical contact person
• Participation in the introduction of S/4 HANA and the correct mapping of processes in the new system

Your Profile:

• Successfully completed business administration degree with a focus on finance, accounting, or a comparable degree with further training as a Bilanzbuchhalter
• Extensive professional experience in accounting in an internationally operating environment or in auditing for an auditing firm
• Very good knowledge of accounting according to HGB, ideally also in the area of IFRS
• Proficiency in MS-Excel and an ERP system, SAP would be optimal
• Very good German and English skills
• Analytical thinking, results-oriented action, and problem-solving skills
• Pronounced independent way of working, sense of responsibility, self-confident demeanor and communication, openness to change, and team spirit
