Project Overview: Medical Travel Platform (Early-Stage Venture)

Amitours Group is launching a global medical travel platform that connects international patients with trusted clinics in different countries and organizes cross-border treatment journeys.

The platform will initially focus on high-demand medical procedures (orthopedics, dental, fertility, oncology diagnostics, cosmetic surgery) and create structured treatment packages combining medical care with patient coordination services.

Our goal is to build a scalable healthcare platform that organizes international patient flows between regions such as:

  • Europe → India / Turkey
  • USA / UK → lower-cost treatment destinations
  • Emerging markets → premium European clinics

About the role

Type: Full-time | C level

Stage: Early-stage --- building from zero

Reports to: Group Founders

Location: Fully remote, CET timezone

Compensation model: Base Salary, Equity, Bonus: (Performance-linked: partnerships, patients, revenue)

Mission

We are looking for a CEO who will build and scale a global medical travel platform from the ground up.

The role requires strong operational leadership, experience in healthcare services, and the ability to develop international partnerships.

The CEO will lead the development of:

  • clinic partnerships;
  • patient acquisition channels;
  • operational infrastructure;
  • early marketplace and platform structure;

This is a founding leadership role with responsibility for building the organization, defining strategy, and establishing the first global healthcare partnerships.

The Opportunity

  • A mission worth building --- You're helping patients access life-changing treatment across borders
  • The chance to finally do it your way --- if you've spent years in healthcare knowing exactly how this should work, this is your chance to build it yourself
  • Backed by an established group --- You get the upside of building something new without starting from zero
  • A wide-open market --- medical travel is large, fragmented, and has no dominant global platform. The opportunity is real and the timing is right
  • Full commercial autonomy --- you set the partnerships, the corridors, and the go-to-market. No corporate layers,
  • Fully remote-friendly environment within CET time zone

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Leadership

  • Lead the company from early-stage through initial scale
  • Define go-to-market strategy for key regions
  • Identify and develop partnerships with hospitals, insurance companies, and healthcare intermediaries

2. Clinic & Hospital Partnerships

  • Build relationships with hospitals and specialty clinics across multiple countries
  • Negotiate treatment packages and develop structured provider agreements
  • Develop and maintain a trusted provider network
  • Define clinic onboarding standards and quality benchmarks

3. International Patient Operations

  • Design end-to-end patient journey processes
  • Create medical case coordination workflows
  • Implement quality control and medical compliance procedures
  • Ensure consistent patient experience across all treatment corridors

4. Business Development & Revenue

  • Build referral networks with doctors, healthcare brokers, and institutions
  • Develop international patient acquisition channels
  • Identify high-demand procedures and priority treatment corridors
  • Establish international medical corridors between regions

5. Platform & Marketplace Development

  • Work with the product team to structure medical marketplace workflows
  • Define pricing and referral structures
  • Develop clinic onboarding and verification standards

Requirements

  • You have 10 years in healthcare --- international patient services, hospital BD, medical tourism, or digital health;
  • You know how to build the business from scratch and owning all the operational processes
  • You're comfortable with early-stage ambiguity --- no playbook, no large team, just opportunity
  • You have operated across multiple countries and understand cross-border healthcare,
  • You've built partnerships and closed deals yourself --- not just managed a team that did
  • You have strong network across hospitals, clinics, or healthcare institutions internationally
  • You have multilingual capability --- English required, (Russian is a strong advantage)
  • Background in one or more of the following:
    • International patient departments in hospitals
    • Healthcare management
    • Digital health platforms or HealthTech companies
    • Medical tourism providers
    • Hospital business development
  • You have ability to design and implement patient coordination processes
  • You are tech savvy, are eager to keep up with technological innovations and automations;

This is NOT for you if:

You're looking for a stable corporate role, have only worked in large hospital systems, or have never personally driven business development from zero.
