Senior QA Lead / Test Coordinator -- SAP IS-U (German C1/C2)

Work model: Onsite 1 day per week initially. After 2 months, the client plans to transition to a fully remote setup (currently in progress).
Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Test Coordinator / QA Lead with strong expertise in SAP IS-U and fluency in German (C1/C2 level). The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end test management, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring high-quality delivery across multiple testing phases in the Energy & Utilities domain.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage end-to-end testing activities across SIT, UAT, and E2E phases
- Define, plan, and control test strategy, scope, timelines, and execution
- Prepare and publish daily, weekly, and monthly test status reports
- Coordinate with business stakeholders, developers, and cross-functional teams
- Review and optimize test execution and test automation coverage
- Manage test environments, data setup, and cross-system dependencies
- Ensure alignment with project management practices and QA standards
- Identify risks, defects, and bottlenecks, and drive timely resolution
- Facilitate stakeholder communication in German and English
Required Skills & Experience
- 4--7 years of SAP experience, with strong focus on SAP IS-U
- Proven experience as QA Lead / Test Coordinator / Test Manager
- Strong knowledge of:
- Manual Testing & Functional Testing
- End-to-End Testing Lifecycle (SIT, UAT, E2E)
- Experience in Energy & Utilities industry (highly preferred)
- Hands-on experience in test planning, execution, and reporting
- Strong stakeholder management skills (client internal teams)
- Familiarity with test management tools and defect tracking systems
Language Requirement
- German: C1 / C2 level (mandatory)
- English: Professional proficiency
Nice to Have
- Exposure to test automation frameworks
- Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
- Understanding of integration testing across SAP and non-SAP systems
