Your Responsibilities

As a Senior Financial Accountant, you will take on the following tasks among others in your key role:

  • Responsibility for accounting processes -- accounts receivable, accounts payable & fixed asset accounting.
  • Independent preparation and coordination of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB and, if applicable, IFRS.
  • Processes & Digitalization are your strength: You will further develop existing processes, drive automation initiatives, and optimize the use of paperless accounting.
  • As the contact person for external service providers, you will be in constant exchange with tax advisors, auditors, and authorities.
  • Support with budget planning, financial forecasts, and strategic corporate decisions.

Your Profile

  • Fluent German and English skills in speaking and writing.
  • Min. 3 years of experience in financial accounting.
  • Completed commercial apprenticeship/degree with a focus on accounting/finance/taxes/economics.
  • Sound knowledge of accounts receivable, accounts payable, and fixed asset accounting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB -- ideally also IFRS.
  • Experience with common accounting systems.
  • A hands-on mentality and strong team spirit characterize you.
