About the Company
Our client is an international FMCG company with a strong portfolio of well-established brands and is undergoing a strategic growth phase in the European market. The organization focuses on innovation, digitalization, sustainable development, and strengthening its market presence through strategic partnerships and customer-centric approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and support assigned food retail and foodservice/HoReCa customers
- Develop and implement regional key account strategies and translate them into actionable customer development plans
- Drive sales growth, profitability, and portfolio expansion within key accounts
- Build and maintain strong relationships with relevant stakeholders at customer organizations
- Conduct regular business reviews and ensure alignment with strategic objectives
- Identify new business opportunities and acquire new customers to build long-term partnerships
- Analyze customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape
- Collaborate closely with internal teams (e.g. marketing, supply chain)
- Develop and execute customer-specific activation and marketing campaigns
- Monitor KPIs, track performance, and provide accurate forecasts
- Ensure structured reporting and continuous performance improvement
Qualifications
Education:
- Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent commercial training)
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Key Account Management or similar sales roles
- Experience in FMCG, retail, and/or foodservice/HoReCa is preferred
Skills and Competencies
Technical & Functional Skills:
- Strong understanding of FMCG market dynamics
- Experience in sales strategy development and execution
- Analytical mindset with ability to interpret market and customer data
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM/ERP systems (e.g. SAP/BW is a plus)
Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Results-oriented and proactive approach
- Ability to work independently and in a structured manner
- High level of ownership and accountability
- Strong relationship-building capability
Languages:
- Fluent German (mandatory)
- Good English skills (written and spoken)
Working Conditions
- Full-time position with permanent contract
- Hybrid working model with flexible working hours
- Frequent travel required within the assigned region
